In Q3 of 2020, quants flock to stocks that have performed well during the COVID-19 pandemic including grocery retailers and wholesalers (Kroger, Sprouts Farmers’ Market, Spartan Nash), residential construction (Pulte Group, Boise Cascade), packaging (Greif)and sporting goods retailers (Hibbett Sports). eBay continues to top the most crowded list as a deep value play in Internet retail.
