Quant Observer is brought to you by Stephen Sloan. I am a senior in Industrial Engineering and Operations Research at UC Berkeley, specializing in data analytics. Quant Observer was born out of a summer project where I helped my Dad, a Professor of Accounting, to identify the largest holdings of quant investors. He supplied a list of known quants and I wrote some Python code to download and analyze their holdings. After the project was finished, we found it was interesting to re-run the code each quarter and see how their top holdings have changed. Soon, other professors and investors asked to see the top holdings and the Quant Observer website was born.
My full CV is here. Feel free to contact me with comments on the site or if you are looking for a data analytics expert.
